Jeffery A. Palen, DO, FACOG
Dr. Jeffery Palen is the founding doctor of Aspen Ob/Gyn, PC and has been in private practice since 1994. Dr. Palen is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists. His special practice interests include complicated and routine pregnancies, laparoscopic surgery, and urogynecology, including the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic support problems.
Dr. Palen strives to offer personalized, state of the art medical care to women of all ages in a private office setting staffed with talented and compassionate employees. He strongly believes in the traditional practice model where patients see their own doctor and are not passed between physicians as in a clinic style of practice. Dr. Palen enjoys caring for women from early teens through the mature years. He especially enjoys seeing the children he helped deliver when they come in with their mothers during office visits.
Dr. Palen is married to retired pediatrician Dr. Shari Palen and together they have seven wonderful children. He enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities such and hiking and fishing.

Janet Nodine, MS, CNM
Janet is a certified Nurse-Midwife since 1986 and a Registered Nurse since 1976. She has always worked in Women’s Health during her career delivering many Tucson babies and caring for women throughout their life spans, including annual exams and menopause. She is a gentle, caring professional available for prenatal and well-woman gynecology visits.
Janet attended nursing school in Winona, Minnesota and then obtained advanced Midwifery training at the University of Utah and her Master’s degree at the University of Arizona.
Janet and her husband, Bryant Nodine, have lived in Tucson since 1983 and love the desert environment. They enjoy hiking, biking and swimming. Janet does permanent makeup on her days off.

Dr. Vladimir Breaslau, DO, PhD
Dr. Breaslau joined the Aspen team in the Summer of 2010.
Dr. Breaslau earned his medical degree at the University of Kishinev Medical School in Kishinev, Moldova and his PhD in Endocrinology/Oncology at Petrov's Reasearch instritute of Oncology in Leningrad, Russia. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY.
Dr. Breaslau provides over thirty years of experience with a special expertise in surgery, oncology, endocrinology as well as obstetrics and gynecology.
He is fluent in English, Russian, French and Romanian
